October 7 (Tuesday)
Second presidential debate - Belmont University, 8:00 pm CST
Town-style debate with questions from the audience and ones submitted through the Internet
Moderator: Tom Brokaw

October 8 (Wednesday)
Last day to register to vote in the general election. Register up to 5:00 pm at the County Clerk’s office, Phelps County Courthouse.

October 13 (Monday)
Rolla Community Teacher’s Candidate Forum, 4:00 pm
D. Kent King Administrative Building, Board Room, 500 A Forum Drive
Topics: MAP Testing; No Child Left Behind; Beunding; School Choice/Vouchers/Tuition Tax Credits
Questions from the floor will be screened.

October 15 (Wednesday)
Rolla Daily News Candidate Forum, 5:30 pm
Phelps County Courthouse

Third presidential debate - Hofstra University, 8:00 pm CST
Focus on domestic and economic policy.

NAACP candidates forum/debate

Last day to vote absentee. Vote up to 5:00 pm at the County Clerk’s office, Phelps County Courthouse

Note: Noon Kiwanis Club will hold forums each week focusing on local contests
