July 7 (Wednesday)
Last day to register to vote in the August 3rd primary. Phelps County voters register at County Clerk’s office, Phelps County Courthouse
July 16 (Friday)
Pulaski County Democrats will hold a “Fish Fry” at Warnol Valley Lakes Fish Farm, Dixon, from 6:00 pm - dark.
Event is a fundraiser for Democratic candidates, including Senator Frank Barnitz, running for re-election as State Senator, 16th District.
$10.00 for adults; $5.00 for children under the age of 12
Directions to Warnol Valley Lakes Fish Farm - 10401 Circle Road, Dixon:
Take Jerome exit off I-44
Head West/Northwest on Highway D. Go about 5.5 miles. There will be a sign on the left to the Fish Farm

Jeffersonian Democratic Club will hold an ice cream social from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Buehler Park, Rolla. Ice cream will be provided. Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidates’ Forum, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, at Phelps County Courthouse Multipurpose Room. Candidates for the following offices have been invited to participate: State Representative, Districts 147,149, and 150; State Senator,District 16; Circuit Judge Circuit 25 Division 2; Associate Circuit Judge Division 2; Phelps County Presiding Commissioner; Clerk of the Circuit Court; County Clerk; Recorder of Deeds; County Treasurer; Prosecuting Attorney; Collector of Revenue.
Questions for the candidates to address must be submitted no later than noon, July 14 by e-mail to: ollacc@rollachamber.org or fax: 573-364-5222.
The event is open to the public.

“Picnic in the Park with Paul,” Lions’ Club Park, Pavilion 1, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A rally for Paul Long, Democratic candidate for 149th State Legislative seat, and an opportunity for folks to meet him and to hear what he has to say.
Picnic supper provided. Everyone is welcome.
July 27 (Tuesday)
Ice cream social fundraiser for Senator Frank Barnitz, running for re-election as State Senator, 16th District -
Holiday Inn, Salem, beginning at 6:30 pm.
